I left a few years ago - the company used to have these large meetings called LwD; useless and big waste of money. We listened to pompous, arrogant and dogmatic speeches from the so called leaders. Not sure it they are still doing it.
By the way, leaving AT&T was one of the best decisions of my life! Have a much better job, better pay and my new company respects employees and treat them as human beings.

LWD used to have great presentations. Thomas Friedman was the “jump the shark” moment and it’s been downhill since that point. The only way to go lower is to have Paul Krugman.

The 3-5 minutes snippets are not informative nor entertaining, executives getting their PR time with the troops. There is no thumbs down or dislike button, and comments are comical. Youtube wannabe stars will keep pumping content. We should form a committee and give out razzie awards.

Are WOKE leadership cares nothing about the US worker, no matter what color, as evidenced by them whacking employees in the US, or rebadging them, and immediately replacing them in India.
You might want to plug in wired earbuds and leave the volume on. Leave the earbuds on the desk - it wouldn't surprise me if they are tracking people who do what you are doing (as I have done in the past as well). That way if they are checking settings while watching them spew their "wisdom" they will believe you are soaking in their knowledge.
They still do it, and I still fire it up, turn off volume, and push to the back, and keep plugging away at real work, all just to get the ping on the 'I took it' check box in the right space of time.
