What is the name of the position where you get paid to IM me when I stay idle “too long” on VA? Why are you still employed and how are you still employed?

Sounds like a good job for India, they don't have to actually talk to you to tell you that you've been idle too long right? So you won't have the problem of understanding what they are saying in their heavy accent like our customers will.
If the job was fun, like it used to be, claim adjusters would work their a– off. Think about that.
You must be referring to the new “workplace sociopath” position listing in talent connection. Word has it they even hack employees home networks and personal devices now.

This is exactly what they do as a USAA, progressive, Geico, and other major companies that have call centers. You are going to be micromanaged to death. You are call center employees now which are simply insurance telemarketers and not real insurance agents. It’s an injustice to the industry.

Slow down guys, no need to have the inter department animosity, sounds like the CORE position employees are just following directions and of course have to answer to their superior. The issue is how and who decided this type of Big Brother watchdog mentality is needed. A$$state obviously feels the need to be a puppet master with the majority of us, no way to develop and maintain a happy healthy work environment. The experienced well trained talent seems to be a hindrance in this transformative time which is sad. We all need to look elsewhere take our training and talent to a place that has respect for us.

You’re correct. I don’t know you. I have no problem with the job you are required to do. We all are doing what the bosses are telling us to do including for some of us working on equipment and with processes that we may not be familiar with. I have a problem with you and your superior attitude where you think it is okay to call your coworkers id–ts. That by itself tells me all I’ll ever need to know about you.
Like I said. Glad they found someone so well suited in that position. Your answer just proves the point. Bet you’re a great person to be around. Go hang out in your basement an be a judgemental hyprocrite and keep telling yourself that you’re better than everyone else. Maybe one day you’ll believe it.

How bout next time your helping an id–t that has spent twenty plus years out in the field and has a massive amount of technical knowledge in a field that you are an id–t in you stop and reflect a little.

OP literally the same except I work in express. We’re constantly getting IMs from our team lead if we’re spending too much time in after call and even working tasks we get IMs that we haven’t made an outbound call for more than 30 min. This micromanaging must be implanted company wide....
