Funny that Cameron was making 30% margins until SLB took over.

VPS is a deficitary operation for decades. Obsolete technology, methods and processes.

Halliburton might be willing to sc-ape up a few BILLION to offer Schlumberger, for NOT buying Cameron.

After all, it did work for the proposed purchase of BHI. (Giving money to companies for NOT buying them, seems to be a business model of Halliburton 'management'.)

Interviewed there once in ‘15 - folks were proud of their OEE when making 40 year old design valves. This, in a high cost country, simply because you could not have an API monogram if made outside the US.
Knew then that their days were numbered

Cameron was a great company, it’s a darn shame that Schlumberger bought them and destroyed them.

The sooner the better I hope! VPS(v&m especially) has never been a profitable business, low margins and high headcount costs....so many other companies out there that can outperform this segment...
