Why have none of the news networks covered this whole situation at all?
They talk about other companies that have laid people off. Why not Allstate ?

because places like Boeing have laid of lots more people due to their mismanagement.
Don't forget that Allstate pays big bucks in advertising dollars. You guys have seen Mayhem, boy, we could really make some memes with him in it now, talk about Mayhem.

Was only supposed to be 4700 people laid off. Is it more than that now?
If it's not COVID related or related to the presidential election, you probably won't hear about it unless it's on CNBC, Forbes, Fox Business and/or maybe the WSJ.
Its not sensationalist enough. Yes, allstate laid off 7,000 - 10,000 ppl. If they were to lay off 30,000 then it would. No body really cares about an 8% cut. Many other business have done the same. Besides, the news is up in arms with riots, politics and whatever else to stir their base.
