I know it might sound like empty words right now, but those who are being laid off today will be okay. I was cut two years ago and at the time it felt like my entire world collapsed. But it didn't. I took some time to recuperate, I started sending out my resumes, and within four months I was at a new job with nearly the same pay and with much, much better work atmosphere. I heard from a friend who is still with Allstate what's going on and I thought my story might be relevant to some people here. In any case, good luck all and I hope your next job is right around the corner!

You’re so kind !
Thank you for the encouraging words
I love these success stories but I think the big difference that some of you forget is that we are in a pandemic. Jobs are not as plentiful. I dont live in a big city either. I'm losing hope everyday.
Is your employer hiring? ;) lol
