Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Layoffs started early SEPT.

Layoffs started early Sept. with claims.
Now they are doing other areas of the company. specially people who been here the longest.

  • only US is affected.
  • no layoffs Expected in Ireland.
  • Our outsource partners in India will have some layoffs but not a lot.

Not true. There has been job losses in ANI not just staff being benched, some have been let go.

Benched is a limey term for their lay off notice. In their country law requires at least 90 days paid instead of the standard 60 days under U.S. laws.

This is not true, not for all areas of the company anyways. From what I heard there are impacts in ANI and ASPL as well.
