I hope this isn't insensitive to those laid off today, but for those of us who are safe, what can we expect going forward?
The workload is going to be enormous, and in claims we're already drowning. How many people will simply burnout and quit, causing even more work for those who remain? Do we go through another round of layoffs in the near future? Is Allstate going to compensate us for the increased expectations?
Morale is going to be in the toilet, and I imagine more than a few people will reconsider their employment with Allstate going going forward.
