I need some positive stories - Any chance I can get people who are in their fifties and up who were laid off and found a new job with similar pay to share their stories?

I took the job search strategy course offered and it was really good. Take all the information you can get.. the course helps you to focus on your skills and what you like best about your job so you can figure out options, especially away from insurance
seriously this is ridiculous, someone looking for some positivity and like the internet trolls all you have are rude, nasty comments. Let's support each other.

You need to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, walk into any insurance office, walk right up to the manager, look them in the eye and give a firm handshake, they’ll give you a job right on the spot sweeping, which will allow you to support a family of 4, buy a house and 2 cars, you can then work your way up to CEO, then retire in Florida and complain about lazy millennials and minorities!
