To OP, is that a question? Since the company is sending out notice on customers bills that they wont be able to make changes to their DSL accounts or get new service after 10-01-20 (Grandfathered) that should be a good sign that its days are numbered. Now whether that means they allow it until the electronics die and there simply is no reworked cards to get or they take a more active approach which recent rhetoric seems to indicate who knows. It could be sunset in 6 months or still working in 6 years. While I do not want anyone to lose internet I personally am glad that they are taking some action to k–l old products and services. How can you compete on cutting edge products when you are still selling and supporting the products you created 30 years ago.

Not everybody has fiber, in fact less rather than more, and wireless still requires copper connections to mtso
