Licensing fees paid by cable networks to sports leagues (NFL, NCAA etc) make up the majority of your cable bill, whether you know it or not. Even if you have NO sports packages and watch NO sports, you are subsidizing sports on cable. So why is AT&T charging for sports that aren't being played? Laying people off on one end; non-delivery of programing theft on the other end.

3) if you are an AT&T employee then you get DTV for $10/month
Anybody who says “teachers sitting on their assess” is a phucking a– themselves. My teacher wife works twice as much and has twice as many kids as she is supposed to have for a classroom so, please STFU.

the NFL starts in 3 weeks.
unless the sports leagues are providing a rebate to the cable companies, i dont see why you'd expect one. But it is a good reason to not sign long term contracts.

I "cut the cord" early, in April, 2010 when Netflix had just started online streaming, and it was slim pickings. Over the years I picked up Hulu+ and Amazon Prime as well and pay maybe $40/month and there is always something interesting to watch (yes, I have to pay a few dollars extra to get Hulu+ w/out commercials). At first, I thought I would miss watching sports. But, nope, not at all. Better, I thought to myself, to get off the chair and do something else for hours than to watch millionaires paid by billionaires to play a child's game, they were being active, we were eating chips. LOL. I seriously hate commercials. You pay for that (i.e. cable tv) service, that's what the commercials are for. Why pay for something twice???

The teachers I know were teaching virtually, which ended up being more difficult than actually being in school.
Comcast didn't refund either...
Gee, just like they closed the schools for COVID, and the Gooberment did not send parent any $ for educating children elsewhere or refund my property taxes.
