So I've heard from vendors and the rumor mill up in Everett. When it comes from all those avenues, usually its a thing that is in the making.
Anyone hear this "rumor" as well?

To those making excuses for not being able to find another high paying job.....
2 years of UI ($640.00 a week) if you go back to school.
Note: the high paying jobs are in the sciences such as robotics (taking your job anyway)
Data Science ( you don't have to leave your seat)
Mechanical engineering (Since you like cars/trucks so much)

Why would they move 737 when they are putting money into construction projects adding power to flight line behind 4.20
Calhoun just announced more VLO and ILO’s. It’s not looking good and at this point anything can happen. I feel a very bad vibe. Seems like what we think could happen and what will happen may be surprising. Hoping not.
The order of operations is 2nd VLO, a huge ILO, move the 787 east, end the 747, move the 737 to Everett, turn Renton into waterfront condos, and - BTW - maybe get around to calling a few people back after 2 or 3 years.

I heard that rumor 11 days ago when the same damn topic was posted. Maybe we could read previous topics before posting already debunked rumors for the second time?
@bjt+16uDfyUI Christmas break are union won paid days off.....Boeing cant "shut down" to get out of paying us for those days.....they are in our contract.
I figure right before the Christmas break to save money by not paying us for the holidays. Just an idea, would make financial sense to me.
I just don't think they would outright say it was true. We rarely hear anything from the company until its happening. So him dismissing it as a rumor, doesn't set my mind at ease.
stan deal announced 2 weeks ago during the employee webcast that the 90 day shut down was a rumor.
I don't see company going to a 90 day shutdown. More likely to get a layoff notice.
