I see a lot of posts but very few about people’s personal experiences about getting laid off on this “lay-off” board. So I’d like to ask, has anyone gotten a notification of getting laid off?

36 years of service, laid off in 2018... I am here to say there is life after AT&T.
I wish they had more respect to the former-employee-to-be in the 2-wk exit process. Deadly silence, no appreciation of any contributions, but only askIng to sign off the waiver to cover up. High performers got axed too simply said your skills no-longer needed after changing directions.
Low performing managers are on the list for elimination. Do not miss install appointments again.
I’m a field technician/installer and I don’t believe that for a minute! If anything, the 1st level supervisors are pretty much bullet proof! Seen orders missed and nobody laid off as a result. Don’t believe what you’re hearing!
Every time an install appointment is missed the 1st level delivers all supplies to the customer for self install. Customer to run drop and drill hole. Supervisor will conduct safety observation on customer before being laid off.
1st and 2nd level managers are laid off because of their missed internet install appointments.
Congrats!!!!! I went three years ago after 33 years. Best decision I ever made.
35 years about time!.
Yes - I got notified a week ago. I will be off payroll in a week. Management with 35+ years.
