So I guess the retention bonus for the execs had some pretty lenient language on the contract! My man J just got paid to stick it out now months later its Adios MF'ers! We all got played on that one! I think even Paul is scratching his head on this one

And in the meantime Opal Perry is still onboard.
WTF. Project One will go live when the world leaves peacefully!

If we summarize we have:
A new CEO who doubled his salary from his previous position and received an extra sweet retention bonus (isn't life pretty?), the previous CEO as the advisor (we strive for your advice grandma), an ex CEO sued for 70 millions who walks away with a 2 million fine (you are a rock star MF, gotta respect you for that!), a marketing officer gone (bye bye Jodie), a gone CFO (enjoy sport Jamere!), a terrific leader for International (got to love Angie, she is rolling like a stone!), no cars (therefore an optimized supply chain), bunch of furloughed or part time employees (waiting to get fired to move on), and on top of it a strategy as concrete as Nessie (the Loch Ness monster).

In a nutshell, we are swell.

Imagine a job where they offer you $500k just to stick around a few more months, and a month into it you just say "no thanks"

Can I have his retention bonus? I promise I’ll stay until the end of the year.

The incompetent board probably voted him out.
Maybe he would not hide secrets like the other leaders.
He was just another passenger on the sinking Hertz ship.
The retention bonus is nothing compared to the money that was thrown his way. I am sure he got a huge sign on bonus, relocation money, high salary, high end vehicle, daily expense allowance and the list goes on and on.

So messed up! Why blame Jamere? Hertz has been a big o' disaster for many years. And why not let him keep the $500k? Did the man got set up? Hope he didn't start spending that $$$. Why did they play games with Jamere. This doesn't smell right. Need to start an investigation. Who just gives up $500k and goes away?

Hertz is such a joke. Anyone who stays is so desperate. Just look at the turn style of senior leaders the last 10 years. Worked in the Central Region for 9 years as an LM and left in 2018- just couldn't stomach the place anymore. Making $25k more now, but it was nice trashing the fleet and not scanning out luxury cars. Saw the writing on the wall my first year in action watching my GM give the house away to customers that complained. Never worked at a place that gave so much stuff for free to stupid customers. No wonder they are about to liquidate. Love this blog as entertainment in keeping up with my former pathetic co-workers and company. Go Hertz!

It's important that note that he gave up his retention bonus to do this. What's not worth $500k to stick around a few months... Gotta be something big

So fitting that Jamere is out and they promote another short termer that spent 7 years with Norwegian Cruise lines. it's chapter 3 of the Frissora comedy hour hosted by the the Walmart flunky. Priorty #1 stuff your pockets quick before the it gets to Chapter 7 by March 2021. Hertz will be nothing but a memory soon, and only will be spoken of when there is a news feed about OJ🤣🤣🤣🤣.
