Don't worry. According to our CFO, it's just a "natural progression" that will make things better. Nothing needed to be adjusted. The restructuring will just improve upon the stellar launch of HBO Max.

Wow, just wow!

The broad restructuring at WarnerMedia is a “natural progression” for the media conglomerate to hone its focus on HBO Max, according to John Stephens, AT&T’s chief financial officer.

“This is a transformation of making things better, not because we needed to adjust anything but rather because we’re aspiring to get even better than the [HBO Max] launch was, to get even better than WarnerMedia has traditionally performed,” said Stephens, speaking Tuesday at the Oppenheimer Virtual Technology, Internet & Communications Conference.

How could they mess up launch of a streaming service (HBO Max) in the year there is captive audience for content is beyond me. I downloaded HBO Max. I had to jump over hurdles to get it, as it is not available on my Amazon fire or Roku on my regular TVs. I finally got an Apple TV. HBO Max is a mess. There is tons of content, but only accessible via search. It is disappointing. As an employee of telecom side, I have zero faith in Stankey. As for the new head of Time Warner, he is off to a terrible start trying to get loyalty of his employee base. At least McFresh has been in this business a long time. This new Hulu guy they hired has been there so little and his first action is firing people. Really bad start.

Devastating article...As a soon to be ex-employee and retiree, I really hope they get their act together. I wish I could be more hopeful...and I wish my soon-to-be ex-coworkers well turning this large boat around.

Sorry to hear about the 600 but you need to get use to it. This is an annual or bi-annual process. The 600 is just the start.
