Allstate is in the process of finalizing the acquisition of National General. After everything is finalized, National General will most likely handle the entire independent agent channel (including Encompass and Allstate IA). After trimming redundancy fat in Encompass and Allstate IA, those laid off employees can apply for jobs at National General.
National General will need more employees because they will support independent agents from a combined 3 companies, National General, Encompass, and Allstate IAs.
You may well see The General’s employees kept on due to this salary numbers....
