Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

No impact or surplus from Chow's org

It's interesting that Chow's organization was not impacted by the surplus. Any rumors on if and when that may happen?

I was part of an organization under Chow that lost more than 35%. So I don't know where you're getting this.

Good thing she's a transformative, servant leader; at least that's what she calls herself on her LinkedIn pg.

Chow org definitely took a hit on July 24th - but remember that they also shuffled SVPs around so that her peers we’re trading large groups of people. Hard to work it out with a before and after total number. There will be more on August 21(off payroll sept 4). Saxena called them tweaks (as did Chow) in his last town hall.

7/9 33524 was the number reporting to her, today it is 37629

By comparison, on 7/9, Stankey showed 185505 and Randall showed 191082. Today Stankey shows 186504, which would be compared to Randall back on 7/9.

That shows the number surplused is 4578. I wonder if that is accurate.

Chow definitely had layoffs in her org on July 10th. I know a couple of them. She also just referenced September for more changes on town hall a couple hours ago.

She is useless, another diversity promotion, her Fast talk to persuade us with faciles arguments, usually used with the intention to deceive us or to overwhelm most rational objections, only makes my point stronger.
"NOT qualified to lead our ORG".

Based on the rushed Town Hall meeting that Chow just hosted. The reductions are coming next month. If they mirror what has taken place in the Global business ranks, you can expect to lose anyone that is on a PIP and the team that supports them; most product specific overlays with the exception of Security; half of your Account Managers, CSEs, TSCs and Service Management staff. Folks in India and the Philippines on IBM staff will be taking up the slack. Hope this info helps.

Ann Chow is holding a town hall right now. She just said that the majority of work force changes will be announced “at the end of September.”

Maybe she meant “by the end of September.”

She is speaking really fast and may have misspoken.

Whachoo you talkin' 'bout Willis?

Chow's org took a 2.5% hit on the 7/24 surplus. By my count, that's 8,620 people.
