I worked for the big carrier that Allstate is trying to compete with. During our last layoff in 2018, all of us found jobs with other carriers and we all between 50-55 years old. Insurance knowledge is intellectual property, and is marketable.

Sell my house and move to the South, more jobs and lower taxes (this isn’t a snap decision, been planning for years, was hoping to relocate with Allstate but will use my severance for moving costs)

Has anyone utilized the resources being offered by the company? Is there any training on analytics? How are you going to ensure that your skills continue to be needed?

Retire... clearly I’m just dead weight anyway because I’m over 50 and have over 30 years... I can’t possibly have any knowledge and empathy to help customers 🙄🙄
