Our ism tells us to open AT&T accounts without customers permission. Add lines. Tell the customer they can’t change the plan without adding a line. Obviously COBC is huge but reported it to director and nothing. Sent email to HR. Nothing. Who else can be contacted ?

That's the way it's at retail stores. I was one of the reps that didn't do that and I was fired and the others that did are still in the company and they are the top reps in the stores.
Don’t record your ISM that is bad advice. I got fired for that 2 months ago when I reported what my ism did to HR and gave the recording and they ignored the cobc of the ISM.
In the Wireline (Chow's Organization) services world, reps will cancel an order immediately after their commission is posted and then reorder the exact same service to get paid again. The customer gets some song and dance about how there was a problem with installation to explain why something that should have taken 30 days is now requiring 60 days. I reported it twice. Twice there was an investigation done. Twice they came back with the answer, "No Harm; No Foul". The rep that was involved in one investigation is now a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager that was involved in the second investigation is now a Sales Director. Not kidding. If you want to get ahead at AT&T; focus exclusively on how to increase your commission check and ignore the pain that you are inflicting on your customer.
AT&T supports unsavory and illegal business practices. Managers in stores tell us to add insurance and next up without telling the customer. I had a manager who would call customer care and pretend to be the customer, with a made up backstory and everything. It’s COBC now to offer AT&T TV to customers who already have a TV service with AT&T. Managers tell us to put a unit number on the address or change the name so that the company can’t track the migrations. The amount of illegal and unethical sh– that goes unpunished and is even encouraged makes me think this is just what the company is about. If you’re an honest person you’ll be pushed out.
document everything and report them to the authorities and bring charges against. crooks need to be in jail. if you or i did this we would be getting jail time.
Record your ISM whenever they talk, ask them to clarify, then contact Asset Protection, if you really wanna make a big thing of it, send all your proof, tangible proof, to the news (not CNN), use Tucker Carlson, he hates AT&T.
Want to cause a stink, go to the news. TV or newspapers. Go to the Public Utilities Commission. You need documentation. Word of mouth is just hearsay. Good luck.

It was all done anonymously so no one knows anything.
HR is not there to help you, they are there to protect the company. Without a viable recording of what you have been told to do, it’s your word against management. You lose. You have put yourself in a bad spot by notifying management. Make plans to move on quickly. They have you on their radar now as a problem. They will be looking for a violation that they can use against you now.
