Nobody is ever safe...at any company. Use the company like they use you. Get the most out of your benefits. Use the company to pay for degrees or certifications. Keep track of every accomplishment and keep your resume updated. Make contacts in your field. Always be prepared.

Tom is safe . Glenn Is safe . Us ? No. They’ll try to have everything fine tuned by December And then decide if they need to rehire staff if they realize they let too many of us go .

No one is safe. Glenn is waiting to activate Skynet to take over claims. That’s probably Phase 4 of his plan.

Think of your career expectations. You own it. Lifelong careers with a company does not exist any longer. Very sad but true That age of corporate and employee existence career long is over and you actually should not expect. These decisions are not about you and the value of your work. The market demands and the corporation must evolve. Not defending. This is dramatic and bad. You need to be ready And manage your career if you are a long term worker regardless of position/level. Because this is happening at all levels, except exec.

We haven’t even been told anything so we don’t know we are safe or not. I’m guessing that means we are getting laid off.

No. They said all effected would be told by their leader and then have a chance at the assessment. They followed that up by letting people go with a mass robot like announcement and giving people an assessment that is apparently garbage.

They are not being "transparent" at all and are feeding us lines of handling it the Allstate way while they are keeping how they're truly doing it from us. I will be shocked if there are not more rounds and if the assessment doesn't make it to everyone.

I would like to know how the "safe" people were picked. In my office the "safe" ones were not the good hard working employees. They were ones that deserved to be fired a long time ago.

I was told not to use the safe word. Just a matter of time for all who got lucky this round.

I'm in the "safe" group but honestly expect 6 months MAYBE a year before I get the axe. I'm just happy they delayed mine because that means I have a slight chance to get to my 15th year & a little extra severance. Best of luck to everyone.

If you live in India there is growth. If you run the company expect millions more in profits.

"For now" is definitely the key word. I'd say safe for this round, who know for any future rounds.
