AT&T Mexico laying off employees as if they were quitting their jobs.
Mexico's labor law has something analog to severance pay, the payment that the employee receives for losing job not because underperforming or being fired; but T in Mexico is forcing employees to sign a resignation letter should the employee decides to take legal action. So the employee receives his/her payment whilst signing a resignation letter. WTF?!
Protect the company, not the employees.

Yep same thing up North...worried about discrimination suits for age, gender, etc..etc.They try to cover all of their bases but maybe they will misstep in Mexico...good luck !

T does the same thing in the US you have to sign a statement saying you won't sue or take part in a class action lawsuit in order to collect your severance pay.
