MVO August 14 letter to L1 through L4 For Finance Shared Services

Our last 3 town halls seemed to confirm MVO letters will be sent on August 14 - anyone hear if involuntary layoffs coming before 2021?? It doesn't appear to be any but just asking

@xog, many factors probably. They know how many employees are in each department, and what their individual tenures, salaries, and retirement benefits cost. So if you want to get the older folks off the books fast, you make a few changes to future retirement perks then offer a MVO to see how many jump. Less risky from a legal perspective than surplussing all the old, expensive employees.

How do you offer some business units the option but not others? Is it a cost thing? More time or higher cost for a MVO?
