McElfresh is anything but smooth. He reads from a script and lacks ability to speak authentically for himself. This comes across as lacking confidence or not having full grasp or belief in what he's speaking about.

I thought The Bust Down and The Dougie were pretty good moves. But if you're into the oldies, can't go wrong with a Moonwalk move. Those are some of the best I've seen.
The retirement of Randall Stephenson. Randall should have been kicked out after the failed T-Mobile purchase. John Legere owned Randall and he certainly got the last laugh. Randall’s pension is a disgrace to our once great company.
"promoting McFresh was our best move" ... yeah, no. It would help significantly if McElfresh read (and put into practice) just one article on how to inspire your team. Hint telling the team that there will be a massive layoff six months in advance and that many more are coming for the foreseeable future s—s the motivation out of the most ardent self-motivated employee. Save that c-ap for Wall Street.

You do realize Apple went to Verizon first and were turned down. And in spite of all the prep work, the network couldn't handle the traffic it generated. Apple wasn't happy, but they were stuck with T by that time.
I know this will be controversial, but getting rid of Donovan and promoting McFresh was our best move. While McFresh is sleazy and doesn't always tell the whole truth, he gets it. He is sleek and smooth as one needs to be, and at least pays lip service to employees. He is about the core network and wireless and fiber. He is given a bad hand, and has a terrible boss now too, but perhaps he can get promoted to Stankey's position and then hopefully he can promote Veronica Bloodworth to be CEO of AT&T.
