Wirth Discussing or not?

Was anybody else shocked at the amount of softballs that were hit during the Town Hall today? It seems to me that our leadership's message and actions are inconsistent and the tension is rising in regards to merit based selections and the focus on D&I. There were many PollEV questions that were lumped into a very scripted question with a scripted response. This is discouraging to those wanting to engage in substantial interaction and dialogue.

Guys, calm down. The CEO wants diversity in leadership reflective of the employees in the company. Which has its pros and cons.

Pro - it allows those that are minorities like African Americans to beleive that Chevron is a place that will promote them.

Con - it allows those that are minorities like A–hole Americans like Joe Geagea to beleive that Chevron is a place that will promote them.

D&I is a f—ing double edge sword, careful with it swinging around.

Pretty used to it now. Can we focus on useful information sharing. If you don't get it you never will. Leadership do not care about you they only care about $ and that is their job.

Yes, very discouraged. Side stepping key areas of focus. It was a walk in the park by MW. Can't say I am surprised but geez at least face a few hard questions and talk straight to the 45k employees who have been stressed for months on end.
