When my wife's open enrollment comes this year she will be adding me to her health insurance. I am treading water until the end of October in the hopes of getting a displacement package. If not, depending on how unbearable it is at that time I'll try to make it to year end but won't be filling out forced performance evaluations on my staff. If that directions comes out that will be when I turn in my retirement notice (I qualify to retire/ 20 years of service age 61) . Otherwise, 1/4/2021 will be my last day; it may take them to the 6th though to figure it out as I won't say anything. I'll just no longer be there.

I left earlier this year. Saw the writing on the wall. You just need to put yourself out there
I would recommend starting a spreadsheet at home of everything Wells Fargo related that needs to be handled. Check all your benefit accounts and make sure you have a personal email address on them. The longer you have worked at WF (or any employer) the longer it may take to unwind everything.
Once you leave Wells Fargo (voluntarily or otherwise) and you are covered under the pension plan, you have ability to roll it over or start taking payments.
I rolled mine out under the assumption that at least I would have it in case things went south and this was pre-covid. At least my family will have something and I wouldn't have to worry about the plan going over to PBGC if WF fails
Check out the flex election possibilities in the benefit enrollment window at WF. Put in enough to cover the dental work, glasses, and everything else you need done. Get id done the month you leave. Unlike day care FSA accounts, under a health FSA, you can draw out money that hasn't yet been deducted from your pay.
@1kt I’m the poster you are referring to. I guess I should qualify the statement differently. We had a Performing/Not Performing overall rating in the past. However, each objective was individually rated on Exceeds, Meets, Improvement Needed.
In my 3 years, I was rated as an Exceeds on nearly every performance objective we had. For example, If we had 5 objectives in a given year, I was rated as an exceeds in at least 4 of them, if not all 5.
This led to me getting a golden spoke award at one point and getting into my stretch percentages of my bonus.
Not trying to troll, just stating what happened.
I love all the posters who say, “I’ve been Exceeds every year” when we’ve been operating on a pass/fail system for the last three years. Go troll elsewhere.
Regarding insurance. WF offers Via Benefits to retirees who have WF insurance coverage. From what I can tell, it’s an insurance broker and replaces the WF insurance for retirees of long ago. I googled reviews and up came a warning from the better business bureau. So much for that WF benefit for those looking to retire.
I was fortunate and just got out. My last day was yesterday. Unfortunately, for WF, it’s the good people who are bolting right now. I was rated an exceeds in every performance review I received over the course of my 3 years with WF. I also was awarded a Golden Spoke award for my performance.
There are other banks which are growing. There are other banks which are hiring. Even through COVID. My phone rang and it took me about 7 seconds to decide I was willing to leave.
Some delusional WF lifers told me they ‘know I’ll be back’ and they ‘aren’t too sad I’m leaving because they know I’ll be back like so many others’..... this is a new WF. This isn’t the WF which has a great culture. I’d come back.... but it’s after they go finish this whole ‘we have no innovative ideas nor do we know what to do, so let’s just try to copy Chase’ phase is over.
I’m leaving this month. My mental health is not strong enough to weather the toxic environment. I decided to leave while I still have my sense of dignity.
