Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T Mexico layoffs

During July AT&T Mexico carried out layoffs across all functions, no notice, no apparent reason, just a quick 10 min call conference with your boss to tell you that you no longer work for AT&T Mexico in the middle of the pandemic.

AT&T has been struggling in Mexico to have positive revenues and client satisfaction since its first establishment in Mexico whilst having poor leadership, nepotism, lack of strategy and ridiculous internal politics. How come top leadership is justified by having poor revenue numbers and/or unproductive investment ?

I guess the police force in Mexico is ok with the SJW Brigade in the c-suite. Keep telling yourself this wokeness is real. It’s pandering to try to gain in the market and blind the over emotional and irrational employee group that it’s perfectly fine for a huge corporation to basically say, and it was said, they would not do business in places if their “policies” weren’t aligned with company “values”. Did you catch that? That’s more of big corporate America selling you on advocacy about one thing and yet influencing all policy on everything. I don’t want my Local and statue govts being strong armed in ANY way by the DeathStar. It’s the employees who need to get woke to the BS they are falling for hook, line, and sinker.

Has the Mexico business ever been as successful as they said it would be? It’s like they went into a largely unregulated market and expected to what? Make money hand over fist? They should have sold it before Arnoldi’s failed leadership.

Is vrio part of overall Mexico assets ? Melissa Arnoldi went to lead that and revenues went down by half since she took over ..

Out plan in IT was to replace US surplused workers with cheap Mexico IT labor. We found them very inexperienced and couldn't replace US skilled workers. Now this plan is failing ..... downward spiral

Whats the deal with phony pole climbing classes in California , with straps and belts that are harder to use then the good ones ? Dont blame OSHA , gaffing is optional in the field , why is it a mandatory pass/fail at school ??? I smell another way of cutting payroll !!!

So Stinkey's social justice paradigm doesn't extend to our neighbor's south of the border? It's OK to just toss them out like old, rotten garbage?

You, Mr. Stinkey sir, are a hypocrite and a terrible excuse of a human being.

We will all remember the way you treat your workers the next time you bombard us with more of your woke social justice bullsh1t.

Doesn't see like terribly "woke" behavior toward our brown brothers and sisters to the South.

Cricket was a pretty good deal under Randal. Still growing customer base and revenues. Just saying.

Have friends on Wall st. Told me they're hearing rumours T is quietly looking to sell some of their Mexico assets because of poor performance and help pay off some of the US debt.

Not sure how much faith to put in those rumours, but the guys in the street usually are pretty good at sniffing out potential deals.

They’ve had 4 CEOs since they entered the market- so yeah I knew they had issues. I have family in Mexico and they say service is horrible and EXPENSIVE.

Yet another of Ratty's masterful strategies, one of so many, to go into Mexico and loose $.

Did Ratty have any merger that worked? No!

Ratty needs to go!
Stinky needs to go!
Zucher needs to go!
The Board of Misdirectors needs to go!
