This is likely due to COVID lockdowns forcing everyone to work from home. Most of the leaks are generally attributed to water cooler talk, which doesn’t happen as much as before.

The flip side is that we’ve already been put on notice by senior leadership and clearly stated cuts are coming. You should be planning for a lay-off to impact your job by preparing your hoard of acorns to survive the coming winter while also looking for a different job. If you survive the next round or find a different job, you have your savings to cover you for when your number is pulled.

because layoffs have become so normal there is nothing to report except more layoffs. maybe there can be a site on no layoffs.
