Even in normal, non-COVID, times this plan of telling us in June that our jobs were in jeopardy but waiting until October to finalize it is nothing short of sadistic. Most companies would not be so slow and transparent. It almost seems like we are being punished somehow. Four months is unacceptable. Morale is suffering and adding stress to already stressed lives.

Nobody is going to retire right now, everyone is waiting to find out about severance.
I’ve never worked anywhere where I truly felt hated by my employer, it’s like this company resents having employees because they have to pay them. Even before these layoffs it was a toxic culture. Now it feels like they are just mocking the employees. I’m only staying because the job market in my area is more stagnant now than ever
The longer this takes, the longer everyone is employed. Hopefully, the C19 situation will change and the job market will be better. There'll be folks that retire this year. Those notices will start coming in during the 3rd quarter. Allstate needs to take this slowly.
They’re having fun playing God . Kids, mortgage , bills ....it’s like they enjoy this
