Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

If you don’t like it, LEAVE! ???

This seems to be the company motto these days.

Take a step back out of DXC for one moment.
Who on earth says things like this? What on Earth are management doing shouting this down to people?

What on Earth makes you think you can talk to people like this and not expect the wrath of something to to strike the fear into you for your pure arrogance!

Forget like it or leave, who on Earth are you to speak to genuine people propping up this company with no reward, just complete disrespect.

I’ll tell you who you are, your $100 per share down to $17! That’s your DXC.
Youre a company with an awful employee satisfaction.
You’re a company which restructures every year.
You’re a company that makes thousands of employees redundant every year, because you have totally mis-managed your accounts, and have bad client relationships.

How’s about you guys saying like it or leave be the one to leave, let the genuine folk take over, offer respect and pay rises, and get happy people being innovative again?

The people saying like it or leave are the bad apples of this company, the small minority who are either arrogant or deeply misguided. Root them out and kick them out of this company.

16bB41MP - another boot shiner - the CEO has had time to sort the issues in and out of the company, now is time to act and set out clear vision with strong leadership on how to grow the company and invest in its staff and clients. WFR reductions, lack of training and flat pay rises don't help the moral of the current employees - seems like stuck record from the past under disastrous leadership by Lawrie but copying through.

Yup - I see many posts on my LinkedIn feed from grads who are “super excited” to join DXC and start their career - poor deluded fools...

The last round of layoffs was replaced by apprentices. We have almost whole desks of kids who are training each other and the quality has gone through the floor. On top of that DXC refuses to pay a wage to stop experienced agents leaving.

These latest replacements will come from school leavers no doubt. The much-trumpeted pay review will underline how much DXC undervalues its workforce. It's one thing to say no pay increase, but the message is completely different when they say "we have carefully evaluated your wage and you are only due to .5% increase" - because you know that's what will happen, pay review box ticked.

Please don't bash the CEO for the past mistakes. He and his newly hired execs are trying to get the ship back in order. Patience !

I’m afraid it’s the same old sh1t all over again with Sal. All talk, no action. He’s a liar.

I am told by someone in the know that Sal hates it when we write nasty things about him.

Genuinely, it really makes him angry.

He just craves people telling him he's a good boy and doing a good job - like a real CEO.

Newsflash for you Sally.... we see you for what you are.

PS I also got direct confirmation that executives get a bonus for getting people to fill in the employee surveys. If you want to "correct" excessive executive pay, you can do your bit ;-)

Now now, Sal reads his emails and he has feelings too.

A-f***ing-MEN - can't wait for the next meltdown the a$$h0l3 has on a company-wide call. You should know Sal that if you strip away the thin veneer of brown-nosers around you, the rest of the company thinks you're a laughing stock!

It's the hypocrisy I can't stomach.

"we care about our people"

And

"if you don't like it leave"

How are we supposed to square that one?

I can tell you exactly how it works... One statement is what the management consultants have told him to say, the other one is him speaking for himself.

The worst part is how crushing it can be to your self-worth. Don’t let DXC take you down.

I did not like it, I left, DXC offered me a position, ran the opposite way. Never again. Worst place to work in my 30+ yrs in IT. At least now I have annual raises. If you can take the door do it, anything else is better.
