So Stankey “couldn’t be more pleased” with HBO Max's progress since May... Now, I understand that he has to say stuff like that to placate shareholders who are undoubtedly and rightfully disappointed, but am I the only one who thinks that he actually believes what he is saying? That the launch was great and things are going swell and that he is still the smartest guy when it comes to this stuff?

My favorite thing he said was how he's expecting HBOmeh to be in 70% of homes eventually.
Netflix right now, after years of building their business is "only" in 60% of homes.
Good luck, Stank.
Off topic, wondering how many of the super duper executives will pass the Mental Fitness Test.
5g is a joke.
Any shareholder who believes all that is more delusional than he is. People vote with their money. 'Nuff said.
I mean, does he have a choice?
He is not happy with it. Or otherwise, he is crazy. In a once in a life time generational pandemic that people are all staying home and should drive up demand for at home entertainment, still no one is buying HBO MAX. Meanwhile Disney has gone from zero to over 50 million. Now Stankey wishes he had Netflix business. They can't talk down Netflix any more.

Given, everything, Stankey may actually be right, as much as that might pain many to think
My guess... no one asked a single question during this call?
