So we’re halfway through the month.

When the heck are they going to drop the bomb on us and just let us out of our misery???

My understanding is everyone will know by the end of the month. 60 days forward is 11/30 - they won’t drag it into December. I received notice 6 weeks ago of RIF, no assessment needed because the job was eliminated.

Our department already took assessments and was told October 14th is the date when everyone in our area will find out who is being laid off and given their 60 day notices.

There's no use in worrying yourself to death. Put yourself first, and accept that what is going to happen will happen.

Don't wait for Allstate. I know I haven't been.

Folk Allstate received millions of not billions from the government for Covid relief thus the stay in home ins discount etc .. only catch was in receiving these funds no one could loose there job for at least 60 days so .. no one I believe will be laid off until that deadline is met first week in October

Everyone I work with is so downtrodden. Morale is in the toilet and I don’t think it will ever recover. Minimal effort everywhere, lots of anger/attitude. Shops/customers are feeling it too. Immediate management is non existent at this point, they are left in the dark too with teams of employees that still don’t know what’s going on. They should have just done the layoffs and moved on. This company is only going to drop further and further behind Progressive and Geico

Once they meet the quota for voluntary resignations they’ll let staff know what is going on. They keep putting it off cuz replacements aren’t ready yet. The more this drags out the more people will give up. Most are depressed and hardly able to do the job cuz they are beaten down so hard. What a rotten way to do a restructuring.

Whatever Einstein thought up the transparent transformative thought process was great. It was transparent when we were told no one was losing their jobs, then the next month when we were told different. And that was 5 months ago. Clearly the transparency got foggy
