Nothing has been sold, just a rebranding for all markets
All the fiber and govt contracts will be lumen. All the sh– copper or mass markets will still be called Centurylink
This is definitely a positive change. Sounds more technical by nature and resembles the new cable possibilities. Have you researched the definition? If not, google it. ;)

HA! I just received an invite to a company wide conference call for "an important company-wide update."
I don't have time to listen in but I'm sure somebody will let us know here.
Hearing the same, Mass Markets sold and CenturyLink name being kept with Consumer/Small Biz (aka Mass Markets) and Enterprise/Large Biz/Federal rebranding to Lumen.
I printed and took a picture of the email-it was not recalled on my company email thread but it is now GONE !

Same email from an M.W., saying the company will be transitioning to lumen.com from centurylink.com. Was supposed to only go to Corp. OOPS. Appears to have gone to entire workforce.
Received the same email too. Was quickly removed from server.

not sure but got email from meghan wilinson saying for VP and above talking about email domain changing 9/15 to lumen.com from centurylin.com but lumen.com is a patent firm it looks like so whats this email about.

Things I know, Management have been in meetings almost all day for a couple weeks, secondly My SRO slipped with a whole lot of changes about to happen.
This is the last Quarter of the year, cleaning the slate, setting up the model for next year and trying to get bugs out now all about to happen. This will go along with the next Re Organization, reengineering project or right sizing, or layoffs depending on decade you entered the workforce.
Let me guess. Increase productivity,no o.t,call before during and after plus buzz. No idling vehicle. Out of yard in 10 minutes. No rehab or fixing cable. Temp temp temp. Anything else. ??
