HBOMax versus DirectTV

As a retired or even a current employee, is HBOMax a better deal?

The better deal would be to steer clear of AT&T! Stank can't get anything right including wanting to be a media conglomerate which is failing big time.

lol, AT&T it is in the bottom of the list.
The ill-fated R.M.S. AT&ttanic, will rest nearly two-and-one-half miles down in the icy Atlantic ocean...

better deals? Disney or Netflix,

They're completely different things - one's a satellite TV provider, the other is a netflix-type streaming service.

Look at hulu live tv, it's like $45 a month & has cable channels and a library of movies & tv. It's a way better value than any of at&t's offerings unless you just need hbo.
