A few of my coworkers are not worried AT ALL about the cuts because they think they are indispensable - mostly due to how long they've been at Exxon. It's like they are intentionally keeping their heads stuck in the sand. People who have been here the longest have been specifically targeted for layoffs and yet these guys refuse to believe that.
I don't know if I should feel sorry for them or be impressed with their ability to go through everything that's been happening without a worry in the world.
