Auto VA has come to a virtual stop. They're so backed up, the only answer you get is, the claim will be handled sometime next week. However, the auto person to handle the claim is scheduled off. Guess what! Auto field now has pending just like LDU, UNREPPED ans REPPED.

The have been trying to force VA on everyone since it came out, COVID was just perfect because it forced all virtual inspections, I doubt anyone is ever going back to the field, maybe only in the most extreme scenarios
Former Allstate adjuster field/Va here, now at shop. Recently had a claim owner call me and ask if I’d use VA. I said, absolutely not I no longer work for Allstate. The claim rep said, fine I’ll tell the customer they chose the wrong shop. I responded that was fine, I already told them they had the wrong insurance company.
Think the days in the field are done for good now......they found out they can force VA on shops and tow yards and they have to do something or it will sit or try to get it to a GHRN shop and then do the VA there......Copart doing VA for a lot too in total loss.....not a good time for the field in my view.
VA is virtual assist and there’s thousands Of inspects pending that shops and customers refuse to use VA currently . They need to eventually get the field adjusters back into the field handling their markets .

Happened twice for me this week. I I hadn’t circled back a CA and total loss would have just sat there forever 😩
Yes and it’s all about quantity not quality like working in a sweat shop so with that said how they gonna lay adjusters off with the high work load
