Wfrs in US

Anyone know if there are voluntary wfrs happening in the US? Wouldn't mind some severance and getting walked out.

Yes there will be.With the sale of the healthcare businesses they will be getting rid if a lot of managers as the size of the company has shrunk and the overhead is high.

Mike is aware and on the case.

3 months after getting WFR I am happy it happened. No more stress and laugh when I hear the mess behind me.

voluntary wfrs, Yes it;s called quitting your job! Why would you want to be WRF for a max 8 weeks pay, just take vacations as they are unlimited with manager approval

As indicated above, there is no voluntary wfr in the states. You can, however, increase your chances of getting one from the company. When you've finally had enough, Just cut your hours billed to the customer. Start using an "admin" or training charge code for more and more of your time. You'll be nominated by your mgr for a wfr in one or two billing cycles. It all hinges on if you are producing billable revenue greater than your salary. But why wait? The severance is only a few weeks at best...you're looking at $6-10 K net after taxes at the most. Not nearly worth the daily heartburn and nonsense one is expected to put up with at this company. You'll make that up in the first six months of new employment at market rates. And you'll avoid the massive health insurance premiums if you're wfr'd until you do get another job. Unemployment won't cover your prior salary, even without pay raises for 7 years.
Find a new job first, then quit. Maybe use some vacation and actually take the new job for two weeks and make sure you like it before you quit. If not, no harm done.
It's also a good idea to get out of DXC before you're completely demoralized as an employee. If you want to cheer up, start looking around and quit waiting for that "very" small severance, that you'd like to get from the company after all the grief you've put up with. Realize you can get compensated somewhere else and be much happier.
I know I am.

Simply wait for more WFR occurring in the next wave to hit UK, USA and Europe then put your name forward and then see 1-5 low cost centre employees from India, etc to do the same job that you're doing but for much less $$

There is no such thing as a “voluntary” WFR. But you can voluntarily walk out the door at anytime. Considering your attitude, the sooner the better.
