In this centralized approach to network management, the underlying network infrastructure is abstracted from applications. SDN provides choice in automation and programmability across data centers, campuses, and wide-area networks. Will SDN Software Define Network automation lead to a reduction in headcount for wireless units?

sure.. eventually... will service eventually be marginalized? Sure if its not watched and maintained properly, or dumped on a third party while you continue to decimate your talent pool. Will you be able to scale and update to the latest and greatest with a single software upload? including future tech? Sure if you pay 5x now vs. 1x by scaling responsibly and owning the task. Once marginalized youve lowered your bar to the level of your cheaper competitors offerings. Your customers churn. Buh Bye.
Of course SDN will cause headcount to be reduced! That's part of the rationale behind it! Less hardware has to be deployed which means the number of technicians once employed can easily be reduced by half!
The CDC just quietly revised it’s website stating only 9000 people died from Covid alone since the scamdemic began in March. All the others had 2-3 other serious Illnesses and the overwhelming majority were of a very advanced age so that means only 6% of the population that contracted it died exclusively from it. Pretty much agree with everything else though
SDN is dead. D2 is dying on the vine. Unable to executive. Unable to get funding. The company want to move into the future, but they don’t want to spend a dime to do it.
Wireless/ Mobility has been getting cut right along with then rest of the corporation.
Anything AUTOmated leads to reduction in human labor.
Covid-19 makes it even harder to find a job.
Most companies have a hiring freeze.
Competition for that one job is extremely high.
Don't think you're going to get a job just like that. It's going to take months.
Everyday, you hear news about companies laying off in USA.
Consumers aren't buying like they use to.
Stores are going bankrupt.
Stock market is doing well, but the overall economy is doing bad.
They say, it's going to get worse in fall.
Are we in a recession?
Please someone give me some good news. I need to read something that will put a smile on my face. I interviewed for several jobs but no one wants to give me a job. I'm tired, shocked, upset, and losing people around me. Looking at the 1000 per day deaths in USA due to covid-19 is upsetting and depressing.
You're not alone if you feel the same way I do. Take it one day at a time. Whatever is going to happen will happen.
