Hypocritical AT&T
Because Google was an early supporter of net neutrality, a concept that AT&T (stupidly and incorrectly) seems to think is an existential threat to its own business plans of coming up with sneaky plan.

AT&T can't compete with Google of Amazon, it is impossible.
but they are excellent at stifling competition and innovation.
k–ling companies is what they do best.
Looks like Karma to me. It wasn't too long ago they were lobbying for this, now they got what they wanted and find themselves on the other side.
AT&T is going to support anything that may hurt businesses it sees as competitors - that's it. They don't GAF about "fairness" or "equity" - they only want government to hobble their competition because they can't compete with these companies on level ground.
Who cares what they think about this issue?
