one small problem, the stock has not exactly appreciated , especially in this long bull market where you can get a better investment elsewhere.
For one, the company has a long and well-documented record of underperformance. you can say that again look at the ceo and former ceo and you will know why.
: @vwo, HOPEFULLY APPAPPRECIATE?
What is the 7% Dividend of Zero? LOL
13oh - the stock price can decrease and you still retain the 7% dividend payment. You haven't "lost" any money on the stock purchase unless you sell. Over a number of years, the stock would hopefully appreciate and when sold, the gains are additional profit above the dividend payout.
"It is a good investment for income investors,"
Really? So if T pays a 7% dividend, but looses and the stock price drops -14.47% in the last year - please tell me how that is a good income investment?
Anyone that sees the rotten inside workings would not invest in this $hithole. Anyone that voted for Ratty in all those shareholder proxies over his tenure got what they voted for - $hit.
It is only a good investment for Ratty who gets a $1M check every quarter. I'm sure Stinky loves it too!
