Warner needs 500 Managers to go

Just received a text on Richard Tom’s group

More solid sources tell me Warner has bid news in the two weeks. It has been discussed their are 1000 managers and 5000 direct reports. This is the issue as I am hearing 500 managers need to go on the 1000.

WarnerMedia has two separate divisions doing the same thing on the feature film side: Warner Bros. and New Line. They don't need both but the only reason why there are still two divisions is because the current head of the film studio rose up through New Line and doesn't have the nerve to pull the trigger and combine the two divisions into one, which is a foregone conclusions now that WarnerMedia isn't going to be focusing their efforts on the theatrical feature film business anymore.

This seems very plausible. There are a lot of layers of management at the moment. If there's a managerial title that exists, its presently in place at WM.

Not enough lifeboats to accommodate those managers?. Reminiscing of famous Telco liner AT&T RMS Titanic.
In the early hours, after colliding with a Technology iceberg in the content space.

Awesome!

If they all write as well as you then they should go.
