No more putting in over 40 hours for the lowest paying, most demanding insurance company out there. Even for a Fortune 500 company, Allstate is the worst of the worst. Even with today’s rampant crony capitalism, chipping away at pay and benefits, Allstate is the worst out there. It’s the Glen Shapiro the “employees are a burden” mindset. It’s 100% about profit remember. You are not an asset, you are a liability/expense that needs to be trimmed. Despite all the branding Kool-aid and catchy slogans, you are an expense to the company
Allstate cutting a global recession and pandemic is an absolute disgrace. Drop those policies, every other top competitor is cheaper and pays/treat their employees better.
- Don’t forget the Trump admin corporate tax breaks our top people pocketed instead of reinvesting.
- stock buybacks in a pandemic/recession.
- paying billions to the top leadership while trimming middle class workers pay.
- company is making billions in profit after expenses annually but still need to trim employees and local/regional budgets.
- the company can buy and crush another competitor for billions in CASH.
- exploit a cheap labor force in India who receive no benefits, then claim it’s about diversity.
- refer to black workers repeated as “THE blacks” .
- hire friends from Kmart and Sears to run an insurance company, eliminating people who actually get insurance that treated employees well.
But hey, we need to cut out your local office budget and take away even more employee perks and benefits!! Fire employees who make too much and replace with employees who make way less with less benefits.
