Max is 42,100 in district 3 SE. That is the highest Pension band the range from lowest pay to highest is 30K to 42k office clerical assistant to Service Consultant/ Cpe. But most Techs are looking at 36k to 40K in the Southeast for 30 year SiPP. + 50K offer = 89k ish. A younger guy with 20 years gets 50 weeks for termination pay so that is like 86k.
They were trying to drive the surplus towards the top and not pay people for a year to sit at home.

SIPP in the midwest is max $32K. They added $50K this time.
Where $42K came from is beyond me.
The union gets zero.

Supplemental income protection plan.
If your a senior employee say 1 year from retirement and a surplus is declared in your exchange then a 30 year employee is given 42K to retire Earlier than they may have planned and the most junior employee keeps their job. It’s a Win Win.
