Any word? The longer this goes the longer I lose faith in this company's ability to lead and lose faith in them having any sort of decency and respect for their employees and premium paying customers. Be transparent as you always like to preach!

That is incorrect. Claims in some regions have received and completed assessments. However less assessments in claims may be a sign of more direct layoffs in claims or could be more kept. Or more claims employees repurposed into other departments. At this point it could mean anything.
So this sounds like it’s going to be worse as far as layoffs?
Are they still going to lay off adjusters? I'm a UM casualty adjuster.
No assessments are being done in the claims dept. now. Decision was made yesterday
I am an Allstate Auto Claims adjuster and I still have no clue.
7000 laid off? Where is that figure coming from as it is nearly 20% of their entire staff.
There are many positions in recruiting that were told originally that we would know early July about assessments, now we have been "under review" for weeks now and if we get an assessment it will be early August with no assessment results until beginning to the middle of September.
It seems as if first and second rounds have turned into 3 rounds now.
Eric said claims would know something at the end of this month.
If I can make it until October, that will get me an extra year in severance for 15 total. Let them dilly dally.
So based on that, sounds like Allstate claims won't know until September.
Where have you been? This has all been announced, and it’s the end of this month when the 60 days begins for those laid off.
Haven't heard any changes from:
First round = regional to zone "Transformative Growth" cuts
Second round=Esurance to Allstate absorbing and elimination of redundancies and axing of undesirable employees based on negative attendance/absentee risks and subpar performance.
First round 60 day notices by end of July and assessments reviewed and completed by mid-August with remaining 60 day notices announced. Primarily regional and home office employees.
Second Round 60 day notices by start of September with second round assessments reviews completed by end of September with remaining 60 day notices announced. Second round mainly claims, tech, rest of home office, and all other areas depending on Esurance absorbed into Allstate redundancies.
3700 to potentially 7000 laid off in total.
Esurance claims adjuster. No work here.
