Keeping the best?

First us in Esurance Underwriting was let go and allegedly someone advised some claims personnel has been notified as well.

I thought the point of this was to keep the best of the best. So every Allstate underwriter is better than every Esurance underwriter LOL. Has anyone from Allstate been notified or let go?

It’s starting to seem like Allstate had Esurance employees sign the arbitration agreement and this “rebadging process” to cover their (_y_) to try to avoid any lawsuits.

allstate has been selling renters and home insurance online for multiple years, i am not clear about your post.

Wait till Allstate starts selling renters and homeowners online and see what kind of underwriting results you get. Allstate UW think they are busy now, wait till you get the ESU policies sold by sales reps that are highly pressured to make sales goals. That's a lot of messes to clean up.

Esurance UW didn't s—. The business model of selling online to a younger demographic is what caused low retention and high loss ratio. Allstate is about to find this out if they ever launch their model

Esurance had poor underwriting results. Take a good look at the high loss ratio and low retention. They s—ed all around.

Maybe a journalist is what is needed to get our voices out there. Remember these are “exciting times” according to the Allstate kings and queens.

We’ll see if the assessment it the end all be all. I’ve rated as expected and better than expected the last 2 years. I have over 17 yrs of service and consider myself competent, adaptive and somewhat intelligent and should have no problem with the assessment. Therefore if I’m let go I’m sure it will be pre selected and about a salary dump. I’m not close to retirement so I can’t go anywhere. If retained I know we will be expected to work even harder than we already do (already worked in the field avg 50-60 hrs a week while getting paid for 40hrs before the pandemic and close 50 hrs a week virtually since pandemic). May be time to update the resume and look around for a career change as the result of retaining your job may be even more work on your plate since the volume is not going to decrease with the elimination of workforce and increase of claims.

I feel so bad about Esurance UW. The whole rebadging and ‘welcome’ message was uncalled for. Very misleading.

Leaders to Allstate Underwriters have known for months that they would need folks to learn and cover esurance. It’s been in the planning stages for months. The employees didn’t know, yet they had already been selected months ago.

The whole keeping the best of the best is a 1980s sales tactic so all the work keeps getting completed. Tom the racist Wilson & Glen the snake Shapiro have addressed who is staying with there lower @ss kissers leaders in March......
