Appendix A will have no problem doing the hsia/voip work. The only question is will management try and make them hold the customers hand like we do. Right now they get to toot and scoot. Me? I have to fix anything WiFi related or get blown up on crift. Hell, I was sent out to resolve a Sling issue recently.
I say let Appendix A have prem work. It’s changed since the old days. That’s why when any appendix A tech does a HSIA only instal it’s dog sh–. To used to sitting in their trucks. MST= Men Sitting in Trucks.
@ local 9410,we found out not from union, but from management: 300+ in California being" offered " early retirement option...not a good offer to many vested, qualified workers...seeeeyaaaa prem/ wire/ subcontractor techs....

CWA and more specifically everyone in Appendix A sold out all Appendix E even after we have earned our stay here. Hope the company cans most of them lazy asses right before they get good retirement benefits. Would be to funny and so justified.
