Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Inspire Survey - Will it be used for deciding layoffs?

Does anyone know if the Inspire Survey we just took will be taken into consideration when laying people off? Our manager is horrible and as far as I know, received horrible marks/ratings. I do hope upper mgmt looks at these results and takes them into consideration. I mean, how does anyone stay at Allstate for 20+ years are have such a sh–ty reputation? And he continues to make it through these by-yearly layoffs? Please help me understand this. Anyone.

The Inspire survey results should be meaningless. That survey is another worthless exercise created by HR to justify their bloated staffing. Just like the 9 Box rating system, where each manager rates their own staff very highly and berates those employees in other areas that they don't like.

Whoever wrote this should be fired just for terrible grammar:
"Don’t make a difference....."

If an actual Allstate employee wrote this sentence I am embarrassed for this person and the company.

Don’t make a difference. They probably use them to see which subordinates give negative reviews so they know who too sabotage for termination. In my team people only take them if they give fake positive reviews and the rest . .. just dont take it. fear for retaliation is real. It will only hurt subordinates not managers.
