we all saw the executive ranks get chopped. now next level and then next level and then next level and next level...you can see me going level after level. once they get through the first 7 levels of management we'll see the light. i know what budgets are for new work and there isn't much. just be thankful there has been a paycheck over the last 5 years and i've WFH jumping on some conference calls and haven't done much

I did not see much chopping at VP level? Chow org actually grew with VP's which I totally do not understand.
I don’t know about a lot of executive chopping, most just changed chairs in the reorganization. The few that left are set for life. Now if you said bloodbath at the essential and productive lower levels would be a true statement. It’s become a gig, contract, h1b visa and offshoring company
It looks like it's going to be a bloodbath, I initially expected it to get bad only after 3rd quarter results came out, but I suppose the street and internal forecasts are painting a gloomy picture for the remainder of the year.. so it's time to trim to the bone. Good luck to all, enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Check out the debt!!!
40% cuts now seems too low. Some orgs might get up to 60% cuts. Some teams might even completely be disbanded. so enjoy your paychecks for the next couple weeks while you can.
