Too much cash flow to be toast.
AT&T is like the family that has no emergency cash fund and lives paycheck to paycheck.
Att never does the right thing. If it made business sense to do the right thing att would still not do it.
This assumes that "leadership" knows who it is cutting. With the level of disarray in the C-suite I don't think that is a given. These guys are way in over their heads. They have too much debt to pay to keep up the dividends and keep enough people on the payroll to get the work done. AT&T is toast. It's just a matter of time.
