Everyone is wondering when we will hear about lay-off. Given CNNs history I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if they came in mass in September and October to effect the election. Other Big Corps will Also use COVID as the excuse. Hope I’m wrong but I would make that wager

You all forgot the new "2-week" rule. No need for an October surprise. HOWEVER, you may look at December 10th-December 17th as the new "surprise" dates. Get people off the books by December 31, or to make it more fun so people can smile when announcing it..the day before Christmas.
