Definitely horrible. I feel for all folks working at Anthem. I worked there many years and there was always a round of layoffs waiting to happen. Humans cannot live this way. Employees are simply numbers and when management has made mistakes on the direction and the numbers don't look good by Q2, then the cutoffs begin. This is a horrible cycle and has not changed over the years. If work in an area that handles transactions and your job is based on that, find another place to work before your job is outsourced or automated.
Someone above mentioned Gloria is stone age as she does not support telecommuting, this is right. However, this is not isolated to Gloria, it also applies to Gallina and many senior leaders. Together they have managed to really screw up this place; promoting ruthless managers and people that have lost touch with the human element of the employer/employee relationship. God Bless and stay safe.
