Peoples lives are being upended and they come here as a safe haven for true answers. Their management is not being transparent with them and they need help from individuals. Can we keep the politics off here please

You will comply! You will comply!
Make America Great Again. = MORE JOBS
I don't worry about politics now that I have my nightly shot of bleach
I thought this was a workplace to build my career and not a re education camp to learn about my white guilt
You may not want to engage in politics, but politics will engage you. It’s all connected and until you realize that we are all pawns in this game you will never understand the fight. Stay blind, deaf and dumb. That’s your choice but you do so at your own peril.
Juneteenth.
Some of the politicization is due to the various pre-recorded "Town Halls" focusing on political issues of the day to avoid having to talk about layoffs.
So in comments about those "Town Halls." you can expect some discussion of the same political issues misused by management to distract from layoff issues.
Sadly, these political issues have added to the pressure to lay off that was already there from the disastrously bad decisions of upper management over the past few years, so are legitimate topics of discussion, as they've made the need to reduce headcount that much more urgent and complicated.
You don't want negativity, avoid a site whose function is to discuss the process of being laid off, with all the diversions and complexity that subject gets larded with, first by upper management, then by the discussion here.
Absolutely right OP. Another thing I noticed is when too many posts are here with real information, all of a sudden I’ll see a ton of random HBO MAX threads, or just complaints about the useless leaders and “golden parachutes “...which I agree about the leadership (or lack of) but there’s so much of it and we can’t do anything about it - I much prefer to see what’s actually going on with layoffs and advice from anyone who’s got good info to share.
All those job created with Trump's tax cuts. 4 more year.
AT&T brought politics and race into the business and now it is in our business and work issues
you are so right!!! I don't know at what point this board turned into a gripe and whine board.... I started following this board last January when that HUGE leak for layoffs was dropped here. But now, it seems like a group of high schoolers have joined this board now, and it s—s.
You must have this confused with your company emails
